jgm00045-Skorecki-DNA-Assertion

This collection of markers has come to be known as the Cohen Modal Hapoltype (CMH) -- the standard genetic signature of the Jewish priestly family.

How does the above paragraph prove
(a) this mutation began 3300 years ago
(b) it began in Asia
(c) Aaron was the first to have it.

#1  Note they keep on saying "marker(S)" instead of marker (singular). If this mutation was supposed to have came from one man "Aaron" did he have multiple mutations of just one?

#2  Are they saying these "Cohen" all share the same marker or are there a combination of DIFFERENT MARKERS THEY HAVE?

No this mutation did not "come to be known as the Cohen Modal Hapoltype, it was specifically given this name by some 'Jew'. It is like some one who is the first to identify a new butterfly, fish or star, they get to name it.

The 'Jew' who gave this mutation this name gave it a leading title ... "Cohen Modal Hapoltype" so every time some one finds it, it leads them to think it is proof they are a Cohen.

It is no different than if the author called the Goat Intercourse Hapoltype.
When it was said they share the Goat Intercourse Hapoltype, it would be suggestive that they came from an ancestor who had sex with a goat.
