jgm00057-Skorecki-DNA-Assertion

Stated Dr* David Goldstein of Oxford University: "For more than 90 percent of the Cohens to share the same genetic markers after such a period of time is a testament to the devotion of the wives of the Cohens over the years.

How does the above paragraph prove
(a) this mutation began 3300 years ago
(b) it began in Asia
(c) Aaron was the first to have it.

There is no evidence that 90% of the "Cohen" did any thing, if a Cohen is a descendant of Aaron. The only evidence is of the modern population tested, this % of those breeding each other carry this mutation. They did not test all on earth who call themselves Cohen and there is no evidence when the mutation took place or if it came from an old Russian sheep herder.. this is only a test of limited selected groups (which mingle in it's own circle) comparing themselves with their own group.

No different than the Amish who carry the same mutation in some segments of their population and not others.. when the ancestors of these Amish came from the same ancestors.. Europeans.

"Stated Dr* David Goldstein of Oxford University: " What matters if the guy is a "Dr." or a trash collector. What makes the difference if he is at a university or an outhouse.

His conclusions are based on nothing other than percentages which any junior high kid could figure. 83 kids wore tennis shoes, 18 did not. What % could not go on the basket ball court because they did not have tennis shoes? If you can figure this out, you have the same knowledge this guy needed to make this statement. Why all the title dropping, all the university naming.. to impress gullible people with fluff.
